Destiny’s Hand

Destiny’s Hand

I am excited, but afraid to tell

For perhaps it will not come to be.

I am excited, but scared as hell

At what is now before me.

As we settle into life, uncertainties grow vague

Thus we become complacent

With our day to day.

But every now and then it seems

A catalyst is found

And suddenly all of our dreams

Awake with new resound

A time like this upon me now

Yet, neutral must I stand.

I must take each moment as each breath

And hold close to Destiny’s Hand.

The only one whom I can tell

For she already knows

She will lead me to the place

Where I am meant to go.
